Horse Boarding at Homeplace Ranch
Boarding here means individualized care, consistency, and long-term relationships with horses. We provide an environment where comfort, movement, and mental well-being are the primary focus
Individualized Stewardship
For over 50 years, Homeplace Ranch has remained a serious horse place, built on the foundation of lived experience rather than commercial amenities. We prioritize a high-attention stewardship model where the dignity, movement, and mental well-being of the horse are the primary drivers of every ranch practice. Owners find a calm, unhurried environment with attentive care and healthy pastures—providing a quiet space to truly connect with their horses.

About
The Freedom to Choose
In a barn or a small paddock, a horse’s world is defined by fences. At Homeplace Ranch, their world is defined by the landscape. We believe a horse is at its healthiest—both mentally and physically—when it has the autonomy to roam.
Our acreage allows the herd to self-regulate. On warm, sun-drenched afternoons, you’ll find them in the open meadows, soaking in the heat and grazing the sweet spring grass. When the mountain winds pick up or the temperature drops, they don't wait for a human to blanket them; they migrate instinctively to the deep shelter of the trees.
SPRING AND SUMMER
Abundant grazing in open vistas until the belly is full and the shade calls for a midday doze.
AUTUMN AND WINTER
Strategic migration to natural timber shelter, keeping the herd warm and protected from the elements.
