Other Information
Electricity – in Canada is 110 volts AC.
Water – our water comes from the purest of wells, tested and inspected regularly – and far better than anything you will ever get in the city! Two large hot water tanks in each building ensure no one will run out of hot water for their shower.
Heating – our buildings are centrally heated for comfort in winter, and because of our cool nights and moderate temperatures in summer, no air conditioning is required. The wood stoves in the great area of each lodge give off extra heat for cool days or evenings, but are used mostly for their wonderful ambience.
Rain gear – because we get occasional rainy days, we have a supply of hats, umbrellas, raincoats and boots. While we cannot guarantee you will find a set that fits, if you forget yours, or find it too difficult to pack, we may be able to help out. In this way you can still enjoy the wonderful outdoors while staying warm and dry.
